Through painful experiences in which the viewers intimately partake, she instead comes to understand her mother. The role of a new type of a modern Indian woman is superbly played by the Indian rising star Radhika Madan, who plays the title role.
In this film, we also meet Sohum Shah, an important producer and actor of the Indian cinema. The beloved Bollywood superstar Pooja Bhatt plays her first role as Sanaa’s mother. The lyrics for the songs in “Sanaa” is written by the Indian Netflix star Anvitaa Dutt Guptan.
