With support from her teammates, she reclaimed her self-confidence and trains daily, aiming for a personal best at the US Masters National Championships. Some of Ellen’s help comes from world champion Sue Nesbitt, who travelled the globe as an athlete in the 1970s and still competes while coaching and prepping costumes. With bedazzled bathing suits and an upbeat attitude, these athletes won’t waste a moment as they seize every opportunity their golden years provide.
