Inspired by the techniques of Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed, this temporary community, made up of vulnerable and unhoused people in the city of Recife, Brazil, improvises a series of actions that transform both the space, the viewer and the community itself. From a kitchen to a dressing room, a parliament to a stage, the public square once again becomes a site of community, ideas and resistance.
