简介：The title of "Eidology" is a portmanteau created by combining two words: "Eid" and "Ideology." This independent feature documentary, presented in a crowdsourcing style, vividly captures the celebration of Nowruz (Persian New Year) by Iranians and Persian speakers worldwide on the last day of 1400 SH (Solar Hijri calendar) and the first day of 1401 SH, marking the transition into the new century. To craft this film, 455 Persian speakers from 34 different countries (161 cities) submitted their videos, contributing to this Global Participation. Under the pretext of Nowruz and without any censorship and mandatory hijab, Eidology presents the entirely authentic and specific lifestyle of contemporary Iranians for the first time in its subtext.
