简介：The Glebagan system was born to require farmers to rotate crops and convert some of their land from daily staple crops to industrial raw materials. Using an observational documentary approach, the film shows the landscape of the sugar map in a village in the Krembung region, tracing step by step the sugarcane plantations that choke farmers’ rice fields. It is an exploration of repeating cycles, interspersed with past archival footage of sugar cane, sugar, and movements.
